PromoGo allows Small Business Merchants to promote their stores to potential customers through targeted promotions and an addictive promotion capture process.

Developed as a hackathon project in my Visa Internship from May - July 2020.

Features

• PromoGo’s gamified promotion capture system emulates Pokémon Go which increases the customer’s likelihood of visiting the store and their overall spend.
• The Visa Merchant Locator API allows quick retrieval of participating merchants around the customer, which is augmented by the Google Maps API.
• Customers can pay conveniently using the Visa Direct API in PromoGo with their newly captured promo code.
• Future extensions to this hackathon app include adding Merchant Accounts into PromoGo, as well as more features such as integration with Visa MORC, QR code payments and machine learning for intelligent and targeted promotions.
